Is there anything on this earth better than flour and butter topped with jelly and cream? I made scones for a girlie lunch with my favorite girlfriends today and they were scrump-tidli-umptious. I usually make homemade, but I was in such a rush that I used a mix from the 365 Whole Foods Market Brand and thought it was great.
I think next time I'll add chocolate chips. Isn't everything better with chocolate chips?
So often something like a cinnamon roll or a sticky bun is overpowering and very sweet. The subtle flavors of the scone tend to be something that our customers are really looking for. ~Jamie Golladay
